At the foot of the monumental crown of Bulgarian culture and ideology, the Party built a Rest Home for the state leadership and the cultural elite. The government residence became a favorite place of Lyudmila Zhivkova - the daughter of the Head of State. All prominent writers, artists, poets, musicians, journalists, actors and artists of the time gathered in this house.

The emblematic wood carvings in the residence were made by the greatest woodcarver in our country, Prof. Anton Donchev. With great attention and care, almost entirely by hand, we restored the wood carvings and the smoky stained glass windows, preserving the architectural and artistic value of the interior. We restored the broken halls on the level, the wide windows overlooking the mountain, the solid wood, the cozy rooms and balconies with precise accuracy and respect for the impermanence of beauty and grace. At the Edelweiss Hotel we will welcome you in the presidential apartment of Todor Zhivkov. We furnished it in unobtrusive luxury, because we know that the First was modest in his life.
